What do we think it might be? Is it worth looking for? Are you looking for it? What will it mean to us if we have it?
Is it to at last know yourself? Is it to finally connect with the universal consciousness? Is it to find some true value in your life? Is it just a moment of joy, when your mind and body become one. . . and you actually know it?
Is there no end to the continuity of enlightenment, or is there a point when everything becomes known to you and enlightenment is finite?
It is a personal journey and my words to some will seem crude and cumbersome, for they know more than I and to others these words will be meaningless gibberish of little value.
I feel privileged to have had a few mini ‘enlightenments’, small understandings that occurred in an instant and that bring with them knowledge that exceeds any expectation. . . a knowledge which takes the very soul closer to its source.
Suddenly you are aware of something the existence of which never crossed your mind before, and how exciting it is to have it now.
This is merely what I think at the time of writing. . . who knows what the morrow will bring.
I found this hiding in my computer in Sept 2014, now I wonder what those enlightenments were . . . I seem to have forgotten. Perhaps forgetting is also part of the journey. Richard
